A simple setup mistake that restricts speed

Stability VS Mobility
Stability VS Mobility

Many golfers lose clubhead speed before the swing even starts.

One of the most common causes is a stance that’s too wide.

While a wider stance can improve stability, too much width reduces mobility, restricts rotation, and makes it harder to create speed efficiently.

A simple checkpoint for iron shots:

• Let the arms hang naturally from the shoulders

• The fingertips should point roughly toward the middle of the feet

• If the fingers point inside the feet, the stance is generally too wide

Small setup adjustments like this can improve movement quality, rotation and overall speed potential.

The goal isn’t simply to swing harder — it’s to move more efficiently.
