On-Line lessons
Do you want long term improvement Most golfers get a lesson… improve for a week or two… then slowly drift back into old patterns. The online and hybrid programs I’ve built a re designed to stop that happening. Players send swing videos from two angles, I assess the movement patterns, then we build a clear roadmap together. Usually there are three or four areas we can improve, but instead of changing everything at once, we focus on the priority piece first. As players send upd

A simple setup mistake that restricts speed
Stability VS Mobility Many golfers lose clubhead speed before the swing even starts. One of the most common causes is a stance that’s too wide. While a wider stance can improve stability, too much width reduces mobility, restricts rotation, and makes it harder to create speed efficiently. A simple checkpoint for iron shots: • Let the arms hang naturally from the shoulders • The fingertips should point roughly toward the middle of the feet • If the fingers point inside the fee

Add this routine for improved play
Pre-Shot-Routine to play your BEST golf Develop and practice a Pre-Shot-Routine that reduces thinking and prepares you for your best swing motion. Playing golf is ‘comfortably hitting the ball to a target’. Practising golf is ‘you’re more interested in the swing NOT the shot’. Don’t take a lot of swing thoughts onto the golf course. A well-structured Pre-Shot-Routine (PSR) is the key to being in the right mental state to play your best golf. The PSR is the 10 second ritual

Use a sand wedge with 54-58 degrees of loft for most bunker shots. For longer bunker shots, a pitching wedge or gap wedge can work. Avoid using irons with low bounce as they tend to dig too much in the sand. Selecting the right

Keep that steady head up
Low point, the bottom of the swing arc, is critical for consistently making good contact with the ball. Controlling head movement has a big effect on low point. How many times have you heard 'keep that head down'. As the basis for good control around the greens keeping your head steady and slightly UP allows for better timing and body control. In the pics below. The TOP images show a steady stable head and a forward move where the left hip turning starts the forward swing. Th
